Versatility Dressage Rules

For all tests the score for each movement/obstacle will be based upon the horse’s obedience to perform the task. You may take up to 30 seconds to complete an obstacle, after which you should move on from that obstacle and continue with the remainder of the test.

Failure to complete an obstacle or missing an obstacle will incur a penalty.

If you choose to do two tests, the highest score will be used.

**If you don’t think you can remember the tests there is an option to have a person on the outside of the arena calling the movements  to guide you through the test.

You may enter TWO rounds at the same height or consecutive height. Both rounds will be scored and count towards points.

Showjumping Rules

All rounds will be timed.

If you choose to do two rounds at consecutive heights, the highest score will be used. If you choose to do two rounds at the same height, only the first round will count towards scores.

A clear and fast first round leads to an immediate jump-off within the same round, without leaving the arena. Competitors who go clear in the first phase continue immediately to a shortened jump-off course after the judge signals them to proceed. The goal is to have the least number of penalties and the fastest jump-off time.
